  1. The heavens do rule. The heavens rule for the carrying out of God’s economy. Daniel and his companions were victorious over the covering that hinders people from seeing the ruling of the heavens by the God of the heavens. Just as these overcomers maintained their vision in their vital group, so we must in the the Body of Christ.

  2. I was touched that God gave Nebuchadnezzar 12 months to repent after Daniel’s exhortation. It seems that, while the Lord is working in us to help us see our true condition, He is very gentle and long-suffering toward us. Eventually we realize that we are not a gentleman, but a beast.
