Below are links to messages from a blending conference given by brother Ron Kangas in Phoenix, AZ in February 2020. The general subject of the conference is “The Christian Life and the Government of God” and is a development of messages 2, 5, 11 and 12 of the Crystallization-Study of Deuteronomy, which is a book on God’s government.
As believers in Christ and children of God, we have been born of water and the Spirit to enter into the kingdom of God (John 3:5). In this kingdom, as in all countries, there is a government to carry out God’s will: that we may become a reproduction of Christ (1 Pet. 2:21) to build up His spiritual house (2:5) and to cause everyone and everything in this realm to be righteous. As citizens of the kingdom living under the government of God, we do and will encounter God’s governmental dealings from time to time (1:17; 4:17). At the same time, however, our faithful Creator’s loving and faithful care accompanies His justice (4:19), the Shepherd and Overseer of our soul watches over the welfare of our inner being (2:25), and the God of all grace supplies us with whatever we need (5:10). Eventually, through various kinds of judgments, our Lord God will obtain a new universe filled with His righteousness for His delight (2 Pet. 3:13).
