  1. Satan is not only God’s enemy and the enemy of His people but also the adversary. Satan, the accuser stands before God accusing us before God and he also accuses us before ourselves and our fellows. We see this in the vision given Zechariah of Joshua the High Priest. Yes, he was clothed in filthy garments, but he was “a brand plucked by the fire.” The Angel of Jehovah was his strengthening and because of whom he could stand before God. It is true today, we must stand with the Angel of Jehovah in our spirit.

  2. “Is this not a brand plucked from the fire?… Remove the filthy garments from him. Then He said to him, See, I hereby make your iniquity pass from you and clothe you with stately robes.” Zech. 3:2-4

My oh my, what a word of consolation! Joshua represents the priesthood. Although he was a priest he still had on filthy garments. This indicates our conduct is unclean because we still live in the flesh. This is why we need to take Christ as our stately robes! Hallelujah, we may put on the real Designer clothes- Christ in His divine glory and human beauty.
