Today, the local churches as God’s testimony need the shinning, the burning, and the supply of oil.
This message was originally spoken in 1991. The saints were about to migrate to Eastern Europe. At that time, the Russian world was going through many changes, and eventually opened. The charge Br. Lee gave was similar to verse 6, “Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit, says Jehovah of hosts.” He mentioned not to go out and spread messages or mere teaching; they needed to go out and minister Christ as the Spirit. Without a doubt, many Russians touched the Spirit and as a result, there are many golden lampstands today! Praise the Lord!
As brothers and sisters, we should be the sons of oil. Where ever we are our focus should be to minister Christ as the Spirit. Today we can be the olive trees who empty the divine gold from ourselves into the saints. May God have a way to flow out of us into all those around us. As the footnote in 2 Cor. 6:1 says, “They worked together with God by a life (not by any gift) that was all-sufficient and all mature, able to fit all situations, that is, able to endure any kind of treatment, to accept any kind of environment, to work in any kind of condition, and to take any kind of opportunity, for the carrying out of their ministry.” This living produces golden lampstands!
