  1. You know, I’ve been doing some OT reading and have been once again reminded of how utterly foolish the children of Israel were. Because of this, as I was reading this message something stood out to me. Br. Lee says that the Lord lovingly came to visit Israel in an intimate way to be their King. However, they very foolishly rejected Him. Oh Lord! How timely this word is for me. I was reminded that I cannot be so foolish to reject the Lord’s intimate visitation. Lord, let nothing stand in the way of my receiving You.

  2. This chapter in Zechariah is very compelling. Each point reveals something deeply hidden until the time of the New Testament. For instance, Zech. 11:12-13, “So they weighed out my wages, thirty pieces of silver. And Jehovah said to me, Throw it to the potter, that magnificent price that I am priced with by them. So I took the thirty pieces of silver and threw them to the potter, into the house of Jehovah.”
