  1. “What we see outwardly is the physical world, but behind the physical world is the spiritual. In the spiritual world Christ is the preeminent One.” May the Lord enlighten us to see the spiritual world behind the physical. After twenty one days, Daniel, a man of preciousness, received the vision of the God-man, Christ. He appeared to Daniel for his appreciation, consolation, encouragement, expectation, and stabilization. Although there is a spiritual scene, our full attention should be given to the excellent Christ.

Christ appeared to Daniel in His priesthood, signified by the linen robe. Secondly, Christ appeared in His kingship, signified by the golden girdle. His priesthood reveals Christ in His humanity; His kingship reveals Christ in His divinity. As the High priest with His all-inclusive tender care, He was preparing His people for His first coming. Today, He is shepherding His people in preparation for His second coming. We need to see this dear and precious Christ. He is preeminent!!
Lord, appear to us in spirit!
