Below are links to timely messages given at a Mid-Atlantic working saints and families conference on “The Current World Situation in the Light of the Lord’s Coming” by brother Mark Raabe. It is a historical fact that the world situation has always been an indicator of God’s move on earth (Dan. 4:26, 35; 7:2-14). When we as God’s people see the many changes in the world situation, we need to be more aware of God’s sovereignty, more concerned about the crucial time in which we live, and more burdened for God’s move in the present time.
Specifically, we need to see where we are in relation to twenty centuries of church history and to receive a vision of God’s ultimate move (Prov. 29:18a) – to gain a people who have Christ as their life and live Him (Col. 3:4; Phil. 1:21a) – and the Lord’s ultimate recovery – the recovery of Christ, the mystery of God, becoming the indwelling Spirit to dispense the Triune God into the believers for His corporate expression, which is the Body of Christ expressed locally as the golden lampstands (Col. 2:2; 1 Cor. 15:45b; Rom. 8:11; 12:4-5; Rev. 1:11-12).
Seeing that we are living in the most privileged time of the divine history within human history (Joel 1:4; 3:11; Dan. 2:21, 31-45; Eph. 1:3-6; Micah 5:2; Rev. 19:7-9; 22:17a), we should answer God’s call to be today’s overcomers and to fulfill our ultimate responsibility as those who are saturated and permeated with Christ (Eph. 3:16-17), bear and spread the testimony of Jesus (Rev. 1:2, 9, 20; 19:10b), and cooperating and corresponding with the ascended Christ, who is the center of God’s administration, to pray prayers that open the way for God to execute His will on the earth (Rev. 4:2, 5; 5:6; 22:1).
