  1. Long before we were born, even before the foundation of the world, God the Father saw us and knew us. When God saw us, He was happy with us. He may have said to Himself concerning you, “I want this one for My eternal purpose.”

  2. “As those who have been selected by God the Father, we all are Jacobs. None of us is an Esau. Because we are Jacobs, we should not consider ourselves gentlemen. No, like Jacob our forefather, we are supplanters. But we are supplanters who have been selected by God the Father in eternity past.”

Wow! What a mercy to be ones chosen by the Father no matter what our condition was or is today. Praise Him!!

After the Father saved us he then as the Spirit is santifying us day by day even minute by minute!!

“All day long the Spirit, the third of the Trinity, is sanctifying us, applying to us what the Father has planned and what the Son has accomplished. Oh, we have such a practical, living, and subjective Sanctifier!”

  3. Praise the Lord, we were selected from the beginning of time. Our Father has chosen us, not according to our merit, but according to His wisdom. Now, the sanctifying Spirit is constantly working on us to separate us from all things other than Him!

  4. I really enjoyed that we are being sanctified moment by moment. “Every day, even every minute, we are being sanctified.” Preserve our hearts Lord, that we may be “established blameless in holiness!”

  5. I am so thankful the Lord that He choose us and even “hooked us” and we can not escape!!! 🙂
And now every day, even every minute, we are being sanctified. The One who sanctifies us is the Spirit. This is the reason the Bible speaks of the sanctification of the Spirit. All day long the Spirit, the third of the Trinity, is sanctifying us, applying to us what the Father has planned and what the Son has accomplished.

Oh, we have such a practical, living, and subjective Sanctifier!”

    Praise the Lord!!!

  6. I appreciated that salvation comes through sanctification, and sanctification comes by the application of the Spirit! Day by day, and even moment by moment, the Spirit is applying Himself to us to slowly change us. Before, we might be able to do certain things, but as the Spirit sanctifies us, we may find it harder and harder to do those things because we start to be restricted by the Spirit. This is not a teaching, but the result of sanctification. Hallelujah!

  7. “But we ought to thank God always concerning you, brothers beloved by the Lord, because God chose you from the beginning unto salvation in sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth.” -2 Thess. 2:13

:)”In a very real sense, God is a great fisherman!”

“Every day, even every minute, we are being sanctified. The One who sanctifies us is the Spirit.”

And now, “day by day we may be sanctified and that our spirit, soul, and body may be preserved, with our Heart, the acting agent and representative of the soul, established blameless in holiness. Praise the Lord that it is possible for us to live such a holy life for the church life!”

    Praise Him!!!

  8. Praise the Lord that we have been marked by the Triune God! I really appreciated that this mark is the Triune God Himself and it is increasing and intensifying in us day by day. Thank you Lord for the sanctifying work of the Spirit! The Spirit is sanctifying us all the time! Hallelujah! May we allow the spirit more room in us so we can live a holy life for the church life!
