At the recent International Chinese-Speaking Conference on February 14-16, 2014, in Anaheim, a burden was released related to relocating the current Full-Time Training in Anaheim (FTTA) from the current facility on Ball Road to the Ministry Conference Center (MCC). This is the same facility that is used during the semiannual trainings.
The decision was made to move the FTTA to buildings 7 & 8 at the MCC by August of this year. The planned training facility in these two buildings will be approximately two times larger than the current facility. This adequately meets the current needs of the FTTA and will be more than sufficient for years to come.
This was not a sudden or capricious decision. Some of the co-workers have considered this matter for a lengthy period of time. In essence, the current facility of the FTTA is inadequate and insufficient. These shortages are manifested as the number of trainees increases.
It was announced that the projected cost to complete the construction of building 7 and to remodel part of building 8 is $8 million. Living Stream Ministry will supply $2.5 million of this amount, leaving a balance of $5.5 million needed to complete the new FTTA Training Center.
We would encourage you to view the 30 minute sharing of this burden by accessing the link: http://stream11.lsmwebcast.
Due to the urgency of the timely completion of the FTTA Training Center before the fall semester begins in August, the coworkers felt good to fellowship this matter earlier rather than later, and have announced that a more detailed letter concerning the project is forthcoming.
