Brother Ron’s word given on 8/12/09 was particularly helpful to me. The Lord Jesus, in the context of encouraging his believers to not be anxious, mentions the matter of seeking first His kingdom, realizing that we have a Father who knows we need all these things. Matthew 6:32-33 show two kinds of seekers: 1) The Gentiles who are anxiously seeking and 2) Those who know they have a Father who knows that they need all these things and seek first His kingdom and His righteousness. An antidote to anxiety is to have a proper seeking – seeking Christ first.
