I first sang Hymns #456 about one year ago and was touched by it very much. The word “for” in “living for Jesus” is changed throughout the Hymn to be “to”. Living TO Jesus! I’m so refreshed and encouraged to just live to Jesus. My view and experience of Jesus as my all-inclusive One, my everything is just expanding and expanding. What can I do, where can I go, who can I become that is higher, richer, more satisfying than living a life where everything in my being is living to Jesus alone. I’m not living to my job, to politics, to the world situation, I’m not even living to my family. Jesus has the first place, the only place. Oh Lord Jesus, we love you.
